Community Advocates to the Rescue

Research supports when youth have a stable & supportive adult in their home and / or community they can overcome many obstacles and excel in life. 

Main Objective: 

  • Community Advocates are concerned adults living in the community.
  •  Community Advocates recieve training on the impact of trauma 
  •  They work with the children and all involved in the life of that child such as service providers, schools, clergy and other community agencies.
  • ​ The provide parenting advocacy & support
  •  Communitiy advocates collaborates and advocate for services that promote healing for the whole family to ensure NO Child or Family fall through the cracks.
  •  They provide engaging life transforming activities that build trust and gives a sense of responsibility for safe neighborhoods.

 We are dedicated to developing & Improving activites and services that cater to the needs and interest of crime victims.
supporting & assisting victims  in securing services necessary to find their new state of normal.  We provide victims with advocacy & opportunities to be heard and to move on in the most positive and productive way.
We provide high quality legal care to support and assist youth and families in reparing relationships, resolving conflict and working through difficult situations. Families identify their needs, values, goals and we work collaboratively to assist families in meeting those desires. 
The main objective is to repair the harm and build/ rebuild relationships in the community by responding to conflict and settling  disputes. In this process participants engage in discussions, identify issues, and explore areas of  compromise in a trauma-informed environment that is supportive and healing.
The primary focus is on offenders who have committed non-violent misdemeanor offenses.  It involves community participation in the justice process. The objective is to assist the offender in repairing relationship, enhancng the coordination of services and community connections
